My honest & personal opinion; (Photos from Day 1) Firstly, delivery was speedy and the delivery guy was nice & friendly. As many reviewers have already said, the rug is delivered compressed & bent in half (not the best way) as you do have to deal with some lines & bumps. Thankfully they don't show too badly, especially after a good hoover, but they are still very much there at the moment! So I'm hoping they press out over the next week with more hoovering & walking on it. Secondly, most reviewers also mentioned the thickness not being too great and I have to agree, BUT it is still soft and a lovely cosy addition to any room. This particular colour is a lovely dusky pink, which fits in with my room really well. I chose to go for a bigger size (I've always had 160x230, but went up to 200x290) for extra coverage on the laminate flooring. It's the cheaper option, rather than having carpet fitted! Especially when you're looking to move soon. I wouldn't return this even if I wanted to! The solo mission of laying it/lifting sofas etc was far too much effort, so I'm glad I'm happy with it :) But, in conclusion... if you're looking for a thick, super luxurious rug, then this isn't for you. If you're looking for an affordable, soft and cosy addition to your home, then give it a go 👍

Really disappointed, rug arrived bent in 2 and tightly wrapped, needed a knife to cut the wrapping off, once off, it was clear, this is not the rug advertised in the picture, very flat and clear this is a mat not a rug. Seller insistance that returns need to be in original wrapping is ridiculous as you need to fully cut the wrapping to get mat out in the first place. The pile is feathery and it’s so flat, if you rub you hand over it, you can feel the course underlay. The size was good, but that’s about it. I’m going to contact Amazon today or my bank to get it sent back with no costs to myself. This is a clear case of false advertising. Don’t waste your money buying this mat, unless that’s what you need. But as for a thick plush rug, IT IS NOT.

. . . . so something had to give. Unfortunately in the current climate, the cost of everything has risen dramatically, fuel/food/energy prices, so when I had to replace my 2019 purchase of this ‘exact’ rug (even used the same link from 2019), I was amazed to see the price hadn’t gone up. Bargain I thought . . . . . . I saw someone reviewers say it was thin, not nice and bouncy, and I assumed they were wrong, after all I’d only recently got rid of mine from 2019. So I dropped an order in. Wow, they were right! If it hasn’t gone up in price in the current climate, either the markup on this was originally stratospheric, or they’ve cut back on quality - turns out it is the latter. Bottom line, this is a cheap stopgap for the floor, it looks ok and plush - it just isn’t cushioned at all.
